What is SOY DEATHFEST? SOY DEATHFEST is a unique DIY•Underground Extreme Metal festival held inside a century-old soy sauce brewery in Yasugi City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan. This event is focused on “Metal music” (Heavy, Thrash, Death etc)” and “Industrial metal” (Yasugi is famous for many steel industrial factories). We aim to revitalize the underground “Metal” music culture and the region’s “Metal” history and industry for the Yasugi area!
