ジャズピアニスト、作曲家 

新潟県出身。神奈川大学卒業後、ロサンゼルスへ渡り音楽学校に入学。

作曲家としてアメリカズゴットタレントなど人気テレビ番組で音楽を担当。 シンガーソングライターとして1stシングルはアメリカ本国でのビルボードマガジンの HIP-HOP, R＆Bチャートで最高位４位になった。日本でも活動を開始し、現在まで行ったライブは全て完売。

LAで結成したジャズグループ「Masumi  Yamamoto and TLQ plus」を結成し２０２４年の初来日公演に続き、２０２５年は三部作アルバム、”Crater On The Moon -REDISCOVERED-“ のリリースと全国ツアーで全公演完売、大成功を収めた。(アルバムは後に「ジャズ批評・ジャズオーディオディスクアワード2025」 -で10位入賞)

活動は様々なメディアに紹介され、注目されている。

子供達の育成にも非常に熱心で、地元の小中学校でアウトリーチ活動で「ジャズの楽しさ」を伝える他、「BelieveYourself-自分を信じて-」というメッセージを伝えている。

■MASUMI YAMAMOTO, Jazz Pianist and Composer

Based in Los Angeles.

Originally from Niigata Prefecture, Japan. After graduating from Kanagawa University, she moved to Los Angeles and enrolled in music school.

As a composer, she has worked on music for popular television programs such as America's Got Talent.

As a singer-songwriter, her first single reached a peak position of 4th on the Billboard Magazine HIP-HOP and R&B charts in the United States.

She has also begun performing in Japan, and all of her live performances to date have sold out.

She formed the jazz group "Masumi Yamamoto and TLQ plus" in LA, and following their first performance in Japan in 2024. In 2025, the release of their trilogy album, "Crater On The Moon -REDISCOVERED-," and a nationwide tour that sold out all shows, achieving great success. (The album later won 10th place in the "Jazz Critique Magazine’s Jazz Audio Disc Awards 2025.")

Her activities have been featured in various media outlets and are attracting attention.

He is also very dedicated to nurturing children, and in addition to sharing the joy of jazz through outreach activities at local elementary and junior high schools, she conveys the message of "Believe Yourself."
