Born in Osaka in 1993, he graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Tokyo. During his university years, he developed a deep passion for sake, which led him to conduct research on sake branding and undertake hands-on training by living and working at breweries. After gaining experience in strategic planning at Hakuhodo and in brand development at a sake brewery in Yamagata, he moved to Berlin in early 2024 to immerse himself in European food and drink culture. While working for a sake and shochu importer and at a Japanese bistro, he also organized pop-up shochu bars. Currently, he resides in Nagaoka, Niigata, where he is leading the launch of Aoi Shuzo, a new sake brewery established through a business succession.略歴
1993年大阪生まれ。東京大学農学部卒。大学在学中に日本酒に目覚め、日本酒のブランド要素研究や酒蔵への住み込み修行を経験。博報堂での戦略立案業務、山形の日本酒蔵でのブランド開発業務の経験を経た後、欧州の食と酒の文化を体感すべく2024年頭にベルリン移住。日本酒・焼酎のインポーターと日本食ビストロで勤務しつつ、ポップアップで焼酎バーを実施。現在は新潟・長岡に移住し、事業継承により新しい日本酒蔵としてスタートした葵酒造の立ち上げを実施中。
