Short-term Training Camp

 ◉Overview◉

We will hold a 2-night, 3-day the Samurai way （Bushido ）training camp under the guidance of Master Kiyoshi Doi, head of Mugenjuku

Fubu-ryu. 

The venue is Ogawa Village, Nagano Prefecture. You will spend 3 days with our instructor in a quiet village surrounded by mountains. 

※Training camps on business trips are also possible. Please contact us for details.

Under the guidance of the head of the school, you will sit in meditation, practice techniques, and discover a new mindset by coming into contact with the true spirit of the Samurai（Bushido）.

English interpretation will be provided during the camp.

侍（武士道）　短期合宿

無限塾風武流　宗家　土居清師の指導のもとで、

2泊3日の侍（武士道）合宿をいたします。 

会場は長野県小川村。

山々に囲まれた、静かな里山で講師とともに

3日間過ごします。

宗家の指導の下、座禅を組み、技を練習し、

本当の侍（武士道）の心に触れて新たなマインドを

見つけてください。

合宿の受講中は英語の通訳が入ります。

◉Story◉

When we look into the soul of Japan, we find a spirituality cultivated over centuries.

From ancient times, rooted in indigenous animistic beliefs

—the prototype of Shinto—

Japan has built its unique identity by harmoniously absorbing diverse cultures brought from the Eurasian continent.

A pivotal chapter of this history stretches : from the 12th century to the19th century the age of the Samurai.

Bushido, the way of the Samurai, illuminated Japan like the first rays of dawn, shaping the nation’s sense of ethics and becoming a backbone of Japanese culture that continues to this day.

Often compared to the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms, the spirit of the Samurai way （Bushido） has inspired the Japanese aspiration to live purely, beautifully, and with integrity.

The philosophies and way of life of the Sengoku warlords remain one of Japan’s greatest treasures.

Their roots lie in the teachings of ascetics who sought to read the will of nature.

By perceiving the universal flow of energy (Ki) and applying it to martial practice, they established the spirituality of Kobujutsu (ancient martial arts).

Among these traditions, has long revered all things in nature, honoring the energy of the dragon as the embodiment of martial spirit. It is not a school of mere violence, but one of peace—where the sword is used not to strike, but to admonish, cultivating an overwhelming spiritual strength.

At Mugenjuku, we bring this timeless discipline into the modern world, where conflict is ever-present.

Through the practice of Fuburyu, participants refine their five senses and train the mind and body.

In our three-day training camp , you will experience:

• Zazen meditation to quiet the mind

• Foundational forms, performed like a dance, to attune with the flow of Ki

• Character-building practices, inspired by the lives of historical warlords

Through this journey, you will touch the spirit of the Samurai way（Bushido）—a philosophy that continues to guide Japan, and a wisdom that speaks powerfully to our own times.

◉ストーリー◉

日本人の魂を見つめるとき、そこには長い歴史の中で培われてきた精神性があります。

太古の昔から連綿と紡がれる土着のアミニズム信仰(神道の原型)を土台に、古代よりユーラシア大陸からもたらされた様々な文化を柔軟に吸収していくことで、今日まで続く日本の形が築かれてきました。

その日本の歴史を振り返ると、鎌倉時代から江戸時代の終わりまで、約700年間にわたり武士の時代が続きました。

武士道は、永きにわたる武士の治世を通じて、曙光が裾野を照らすように、日本人の倫理観を培い、日本文化の骨格として、今日まで受け継がれています。

そうして、桜花にも例えられる武士道に宿る魂は、清く美しく潔く生きようと願う日本人の精神性を形成してきました。

その戦国武将(侍)たちの生き方や哲学が、日本の偉大な財産であることは明らかです。

武士道の源流は、自然界の意思を汲み取った修験者の哲学にあります。宇宙に遍在する気の流れを捉え、武術に応用するのが古武術の精神性です。

風武流は、古来より森羅万象を崇め、不武の化身である龍の気を尊んできました。

争いが生じた際に、ただ刀を抜くのではなく、刀を用いて相手を諌める圧倒的な精神力を養う平和の流派です。

無限塾では、争いの絶えない現代社会において、五感を研ぎ澄ます風武流の精神修養を学びます。

3日間の合宿では、心を無にする座禅、気のエネルギーを感じながら行う舞いの様な基本の型や、歴史上の武将の生き方に基づいた人格形成の基礎などのカリキュラムを習得して頂きます。

◉Instructor introduction◉

Mugenjuku Fubu-ryu Headmaster

Doi Kiyoshi

Born in Ehime Prefecture in 1947,

he inherited the bloodline of the lords of Iyo Domain.

Since the age of 6, he has studied Kobudo

from the head priest of a Zen temple. 

He has studied the five most representative

schools of Kobudo, mastering Kobudo from

various angles. 

In 2019, he launched "Mugenjuku" to teach

the spirit and mindset of a samurai, and to

train the next generation.

 【The thoughts behind the name "Fubu-ryu"】

One, like the refreshing wind blowing

through the fields, yet graceful Two,

the unwavering, stubborn beliefs, pride,

and pride of a samurai like an old samurai.

The name was chosen with the strong

desire to never forget these two things. 

The essence of Bushido is kindness based on strength, and a spirit that combines strength and kindness.

And it is a heart that always pursues what

justice is.

◉講師紹介◉

 無限塾　風武流　宗家　土居清 

1947年愛媛県生まれ。

伊予藩主の血筋を受け継ぐ。

 6歳の頃より、禅寺の住職に古武道を習う。 古武道を代表する5流派を習い、様々な角度から古武道を究める。 

2019年に「無限塾」を立ち上げ、武士としての精神や心の在り方などを伝えるとともに、後進の育成にあたる。

【『風武流』という名にこめた想い 】

一つ、野を爽やかに渡る風の如く、しかして嫋（たお）やか

 二つ、古武士の如く揺らがない頑強な信念、矜持、武士としての誇り

この二つの事を忘れる事の無き様にとの強い思いで命名。

武士道の神髄は、強さを基本にした優しさであり、強さと優しさを兼ね備えた精神です。

そして、常に正義とは何かを永遠に追い求めていく心です。

◉Notes◉

・This is not a class where you can try on

　samurai costume or anything like that.

　It is a class where you can practice Samurai （Bushido）.

・Please note that there are no convenience

　stores or other stores near the camp

　location.

 ・Wooden swords and swords will be used

　for practical training during the camp.

　Please follow the instructor's instructions

　to avoid injury. 

 ・ The content of the three-day training may

　be changed in consultation with the

　instructor depending on the weather

　and the state of the participants on　

　that day.

・Please note that you will be staying in a

　shared room. 

 ・ Accommodations are not reserved

　exclusively for groups.

 ・An interpreter and experience staff

　will accompany you throughout the

　course and until just before dinner.

　An instructor will accompany you

　throughout all three days.

◉注意事項◉

・侍のコスチュームなどを体験する講座ではありません。武士道の稽古体験の講座です。

 ・合宿場所の近くにはコンビニエンスストアなど

買い物ができる店舗はありませんので、ご注意ください。

 ・合宿中の実践稽古には木刀や刀を使用します。

けがのないよう、講師の指示をお守りください。

 ・3日間の稽古はその日の天候や参加者皆様の様子で講師と相談の上、内容を変更させていただく場合もございます。

 ・宿泊は相部屋になりますので、ご了承ください。

 ・宿泊施設はグループでの貸切りではございません。 

・通訳と体験スタッフは、コース中および夕食直前まで同行いたします。

インストラクターは3日間を通して同行いたします。
