神奈川県逗子市にて結成、東京を拠点に活動する4人組。
ビーチサイドの情景からインスピレーションを得た、心地良いダンスミュージックを演奏するバレアリック・インストゥルメンタルバンド。
2019年、P-VINE RECORDSより1st Album『Be Built, Then Lost』をリリース。Eminata、Maika Loubtéをそれぞれフィーチャーした2作のエレクトロニック・ナンバーを経て、22年よりサイトウ“JxJx”ジュン (YOUR SONG IS GOOD)プロデュースのもとインストバンドにスタイルを進化、生楽器のオーガニックな音色と心地よいグルーヴにクラブミュージックのテクスチャを携えた独自のダンス・ミュージックで注目を集め、新境地となるアルバム「Days of the Ocean Waves」を24年8月にリリース。「Our Local Balearic Music」をキーワードにクラブからライブハウス、野外フェスティバルまで、様々なシチュエーションにてライブ活動を展開中。
Half Mile Beach Club has been portraying seaside scenes with their unique Balearic sound which is blending Latin jazz, club music and indie rock. After organizing and casually performing at the music and film event Half Mile Beach Club at their local beach area, the four musicians formed a band under the same name Half Mile Beach Club.
