Member： 直枝政広（Vocal, Guitar）Masahiro Naoe 大田譲（Bass, Vocal）Yuzuru Ota 1983年12月 カーネーション結成。1984年ナゴムレコードよりシングル「夜の煙突」でレコードデビュー。以降、数度のメンバーチェンジを経ながら、 時流に消費されることなく、数多くの傑作アルバムをリリース。練りに練られた楽曲、 人生の哀楽を鋭く綴った歌詞、演奏力抜群のアンサンブル、圧倒的な歌唱、レコードジャンキーとしての博覧強記ぶりなど、その存在意義はあまりに大きい。 CARNATION was formed in December 1983. They made their record debut in 1984 with the single “Yoru no Entotsu”(Nagomu Record). Despite several member changes over the years, Carnation has consistently released numerous masterpiece albums without being consumed by passing trends. Their meticulously crafted songs, sharp lyrics that capture the joys and sorrows of life, outstanding ensemble performance, and overwhelming vocals have solidified their significant presence in the music world. Additionally, their extensive knowledge as record enthusiasts further underscores their importance.
